The internationally-acclaimed fiddler Natalie MacMaster has crossed the globe with her virtuosic playing and lively step dancing, inspired by her native Cape Breton. Since releasing her first album at age 16, MacMaster’s musical adventures now span over three decades, a total 11 albums, a multitude of collaborations, and thousands of shows – all imbued with flair and passion. Her most recent album, “Cape Breton Girl,” is filled with an invigorating collection of toe-tapping jigs, reels, and strathspeys that embody her most cherished values – her family and home, tradition, and faith. On Saturday, June 17 at 7:30 pm at Salle Bourgie, come see why MacMaster leaves her audiences clapping and hollering for more.
