Jazz & Jeans: Tribute to Trumpet Greats and Oscar Peterson

Canada’s iconic Oscar Peterson is synonymous with greatness in the jazz world. Celebrate the 100th anniversary of our very own legend with an all-star ensemble led by trumpet virtuoso and former Canadian Brass member Jens Lindemann.

Canadiana Suite by Oscar Peterson, arranged by Jens Lindemann (commemorating the 100th anniversary of Peterson’s birth).

Special Guest: World-renowned pianist Eric Reed, making his debut at the Montreal Chamber Music Festival.

This special concert marks the 100th anniversary of the legendary artist with an all-star ensemble led by trumpet virtuoso and former Canadian Brass member Jens Lindemann. The program features Peterson’s Canadiana Suite as its centrepiece, alongside tributes to jazz trumpet greats Doc Severinsen, Louis Armstrong, Wynton Marsalis, and more.
