Widely considered one of the leading young jazz pianists today, Canadian-Hungarian pianist Robi Botos appears at the Festival for the first time, performing alongside bassist Mike Downes and drummer Larnell Lewis. Acclaimed for his sense of swing and technical virtuosity, the Oscar Peterson protégé embodies a fusion of bebop and modern jazz, along with Eastern-European folk and Classical music, for a sound and approach that is both formidable and unsurpassed. The stellar night will include music from Botos’s 2016 Juno Award-winning album Movin’ Forward.

Date and Time: Saturday, June 10th at 7:30 p.m.
