Beethoven’s persona conjures up thoughts of a unique genius overcome by debilitating deafness who miraculeously wrote some of the most incredible classical music ever. In this first of two different programs, the extraordinary James Ehnes Quartet explore two of the famous Opus 59 “Razumovsky” masterwork String Quartets. Each is inspired by Russian folk melody. This concert offers listeners extraordinary musical insight as performed by some of the greatest musicians in the world today.
