World premiere of a commissioned work by Jaap Nico Hamburger.

Liberation features two powerful masterworks: Messiaen’s Quartet for the End of Time and Shostakovich’s Chamber Symphony, Op. 110. The evening opens with a world premiere by Juno Award-winning Canadian composer Jaap Nico Hamburger.
