National Indigenous Peoples Day is a time to celebrate the rich cultures, traditions, and contributions of Canada’s First Peoples.

This special program showcases acclaimed Indigenous artists, including soprano Élisabeth St-Gelais and violinist Tara-Louise Montour, along with a world premiere commission by composer Andrew Balfour.

The evening concludes with the vibrant, folk-inspired melodies of Dvořák’s Slavonic Dances. A meaningful celebration of Indigenous cultures and musical traditions!
